Hotel Staff was excellent in every way. Friendly front desk. Great breakfast Clean rooms Hotel is also in a great location for walking around the city. Highly recommend to anyone that is looking for a great value in the historic city of Rome.

Very accommodating to first time euro-trippers. Close to the metro, very convenient area. Jacobe and David were so helpful! Rooms were clean and air conditioned. Breakfast made excursions easy. With so many different hotel choices, we are really grateful we had such a good experience. Plus booked with airmiles. A win win!

This was our 6th time to stay at the Hotel Centrale. As in the past, an overall great experience. A convenient location near Piazza del Popolo, with many sites and metro stops within easy walking distance. There are many good trattorias and gelaterias close by (after all, it is Rome) The room was kept very clean. The desk staff (David & Jacob) were very friendly and helpful.

My family and I recently stayed here, nothing special. Breakfast was fine, we had to flag down our waitress multiple times after being ignored. Do not get a massage here or use a "voucher" It is not worth a single penny. Covered in body oil and was not good at all. The rooms were extremely warm, and the beds weren't' great. Good location though.

It was not my first time in Rome and I keep coming back. I love the city and have not yet run out of things I want to see. Next to that I love the ambience of the city that makes me keep coming back. This time I wanted to book a hotel in the city centre. Hotel Centrale has a great location. Within a five minute walk you'll be at beautiful places like Piazza del Popolo, the Spanish Steps, Villa Medici or the Villa Borghese park. Just a mere 10 minutes extra and you'll reach the beauty of Piazza Navona or the Trevi fountain. The hotel is at a side street of Via del Corso, which means that if you walk down the street you'll be at Piazza Venezia which is very near the Colosseum, Foro Romano and the Capitol museum. As you can read, the hotel's location is great for the tourist who wants to see all the great spots in Rome. If you want David, the guy at the reception, will give you all kinds of tips on what to see when in Rome or where to eat (as great Italian food can't be forgotten). I always travel alone, which is what I prefer. This time it was my birthday while I was there, what David ofcourse noticed during check-in while looking at my passport. Even though he was working a lot at that moment, because April through mid-June is the high season in Rome, he still made the time to make sure I had a great day and wanted to do something for my birthday He showed me some great parts of the city I hadn't yet seen. Next to taking me on a tour at some highlights of the city, he showed me a great restaurant, which was actually a bit outside of the more touristic area, but it has a great cuisine. Authentic. Ofcourse he also had some great tips on bars in Trastevere whicht topped my evening and I'm very grateful. David made my stay at the hotel extra special with his great customer service, the tips and helped me experience 'la dolce vita' while I was in Rome during my stay. Whenever you're in Rome and want to have a delicious gelato, please try the 'Fata Morgana' in the same street opposite to the hotel. They have the best gelato and Nicole is the best. On the hotel itself, as I'm sure you would also like to know things next to the best location and how David can help you make the greatest of your trip or just be that kind face on your trip. The hotel itself is very clean. I had a single room, as I was travelling alone, which for me was more than enough and offered exactly what I needed. It was cleaned every day. The people at the hotel are very kind and welcoming. Breakfast, to me, had exactly everything that I needed to start my day. As you can probably read my experience in Rome was great and a big part of it was thanks to the hotel and to David.
